We are so far winning against Albo's 'Hate Speech' Bill. But we need to make sure the Liberals stand their ground, and don't put up a Censorship Bill of their own.
Hate speech laws were originally conceived by the Soviet Union under Josef Stalin. As Noam Chomsky once said in relation to these types of laws, 'it is a poor service to the memory of the victims of the Holocaust to adopt a central doctrine of their murderers'. This applies no matter who is censored: any 'hate speech' law can be used in the future to target your speech, even if it was originally against someone elses.
This is a fast moving situation, where the position is in flux. Whatever you do, please act now and let your Liberal Senators know your position.
